AmaMagna

AmaMagna
Nominated:

The brainchild of AmaWaterways co-founder Rudi Schreiner, the AmaMagna is nearly twice the width of traditional river ships but holds only 20% more guests, offering not only larger cabins but expanded dining and recreational venues. More than half the staterooms are suites measuring between 355 and 710 square feet with full exterior balconies, open seating areas and bathrooms with double vanities and walk-in showers. The ship has four dining venues as well as a pool and bar on the sun deck. Because of its width, it can only sail the Danube. During its inaugural season this year, it sailed only the upper Danube, but it will also offer sailings in the Black Sea in 2020.
