During its summer peak this year, Delta offered more than 5,800 daily flights to 324 destinations in 54 countries. Among the routes the carrier launched this year were Atlanta-Shanghai, Orlando-Amsterdam and Indianapolis-Paris. Delta also announced 2019 launches of Tampa-Amsterdam, Boston-Lisbon and Boston-Edinburgh, Scotland. In June, Delta opened a renovated Sky Club at Washington Reagan National Airport. In October, the carrier took delivery of its first 109-seat Airbus A220. And in July, Delta finalized the terms of a planned joint venture partnership with Canada's WestJet.
