Before Travel Weekly, she was most recently the editor of Star News Group based in Manasquan, N.J., covering communities up and down the New Jersey shore. She was named to Editor & Publisher's Top 25 Under 35 list in 2013, which honors the most promising young journalists.

After graduating from California State University, this Los Angeles native moved to the East Coast, working for television stations in Maryland, Delaware and New York and for New York City-based digital media outlets.

She offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to share about each island, from culture to travel tips and news.
